ACTREC Declares Results for JRF Examination

Tata Memorial Centre ACTREC (Advanced Centre for Treatment, Education and Research in Cancer) has declared the results for those candidates  who appeared in the written test taken by ACTREC  for JRF Examination (Junior Research Fellowship Examination) 2010 for PhD program in life sciences. The detailed results for those candidates are available at the official website of ACTREC (http://www.actrec.gov). The website also contains the schedule of interviews for the candidates.

Those who have passed the Junior Research Fellowship Examination would be eligible for the interviews and they will have to give the interview in order to get admission. Interviews are starting from 15th 2010.

To tell the background, TATA Memorial Centre (TMC) is an institution of the Department of Atomic Energy and is affiliated with Homi Bhaba national Institute. It works on grant-in-aid basis and it comprises of two departments out of which, one is ACTREC; Advanced Centre for Treatment, Education and Research in Cancer. (The other being Tata Memorial Hospital). TMC offers a PhD program in social sciences including the basic and translational research in cell biology and cancer and this program covers a wide range of topics under these two genres. TATA Memorial Centre had open the admissions for Junior Research Fellowship and today it has declared the results for those who appeared in the test. Further selection would be made on the basis of interviews.
