She told that she had received a phone call at around 11:15 pm. The sculpture was really a masterpiece of art made by James Lynch. Brad Coriel was the designer of the statue that was placed in front of the Solid Rock Church. Many people woud called it “ The Big Butter Jesus”.

The destruction of the Jesus statue by a violent force of Mother Nature has hurt the religious feelings of many people. According to the reports, Cassie Browning of Dayton, 27, a church member, who witnessed the destruction of the statue, was of the view that the statue “meant so much to so many people”. She told that the statue could be annihilated but not the Jesus.

According to Dawn Smith, who is another witness of the incident, God has targeted God and this was amazing for him. His brother expressed his emotions that he did not believe that Jesus was hit by the lightning. The fire just ate up the outer material of the statue leaving behind only the metallic structure underneath.
