After leaving the college, he actually turned to music and moved to New York where he bought a guitar and taught himself to play and scribble down the music notes. On his concert ‘Meet & Greet’ in Cologne on 11th October 2009, Radin had clearly uttered the name of his inspiration saying Bob Dylan was the person whom he followed.
Hollywood’s personalities find his music as evocative. His composition started making its way, which was why soon his music was begun to be used in TV shows like ‘Grey’ Anatomy’, ‘Brothers and Sisters’, ‘American Idol’, ‘One Tree Hill’ and ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ and even in various flicks like ‘The Nanny Diaries’, ‘The Last Kiss’ and ‘Catch and Release’.
Joshua Radin’s debut album ‘We Were Here’ released in 2006 got critical acclaim and the listeners were found humming the tunes around. His favorite numbers include ‘You Got Grwoin’ and ‘Up to Do’.
So far he has gained huge popularity not only in the UK, USA but also across the Europe. Radin has been there in the UK and the European countries in order to promote his works. Joshua Radin has just finished a sold out tour and is expected to be back in England playing a number of festivals from Glastonbury, to Hard Rock Calling, to Oxegen (Ireland), this summer.
