In his 1st address from the Oval office President Obama promised to fight the oil spill with all the resources. He held BP responsible for the crisis and vowed to make them pay for the damages. He emphasized the need to switch to clean energy at an accelerated pace and the need for effective regulations to avoid future mishaps.
