Katie Couric

It would definitely not be wrong when fifty three yr old Katie Couric stated that the wrecking oil spill out to have sabotaged the once thriving and colorful coast along the Gulf of Mexico is definitely the Hurricane Katrina that President Barrack Hussein Obama would have prayed not to have hit during the reign of his administration; but lo, nature had other plans in stock in answer to the President’s prayers.

Katie Couric has been out there on the scene of the oil spill out like a determined lady who is all out to give the world and the other citizens of the United States of America the first had, unedited, uncensored and hundred percent true view of what their fellow countrymen and women are having to live through in wake of the oil spill and what the current US administration is doing to get rid of the menace. Obviously, as unbiased as her approach has been, Katie Couric has been the moving force that has narrated stories from these natives of the Gulf of Mexico who depended on the amount of tourists that would come out to their area to spend time away from the struggles of the city.

So far there have been many words of remorse and many pledges from the US administration but actions speak louder than words and, in the words of the local dwellers and inhabitants of the region, that is exactly what has been missing from the officials. The question is, “for whom the bells toll?”
