The engine variety has been increased for the Fabia. To be specific, there are 4 diesel units and 2 petrol units. The best engine in the whole lot is the 4-cylinder 1.2 liter TSI turbocharged engine. It comes with 85 and 105 British Horse Power outputs.
One version of the Fabia boasts a 7-gear assembly that has dual DSG. Of course it sends you back 700 pounds but any power hungry speed demon would agree that it’s worth it. I mean just imagine going on a fifth gear and just when you start feeling adrenaline pumping in your veins you switch to the sixth that makes your eyes widen more than normal and just when you’re at the edge of your threshold you switch to the seventh gear. That would probably allow you to feel for a moment what F-22 pilots feel.
Even with this much power there isn’t a compromise on fuel efficiency. The Fabia delivers an impressive fuel economy amounting to 53.3mpg whereas carbon dioxide emissions are only 124grams per kilometer.
The engine of the Fabia is a lot more powerful than engines of other VW group vehicles and the acceleration that is stated in the manual seems somewhat slow compared to what the Fabia actually delivers.
