5.7 magnitude earthquake followed by many hit San Diego

The U.S.A. has been under natural disasters since long, as we have been hearing and viewing a lot about the storms, cyclone and earthquakes being happened in that part of the world. According to the latest reports, the San Diego area was hit by 5.7 degrees on the Richter Scale on Monday night at 9:26 p.m. when the first jolt of the earthquake shook the area and immediately 3.9 magnitude of quake followed across riverside and San Bernardino County.

After these two jolts, almost 11 quakes followed and shook the whole San Diego area with the magnitudes of 3.9-4.1. Many residents of Ocotillo, CA then started posting on all social networking sites about the seism. The analysts said that in comparison of the previous earthquakes in the city, these ones are much smaller.

Although the earthquake and the following small quakes were smaller, the authorities nevertheless asked the people to be evacuated from the area to avoid the unexpected danger. The Civil Protection
personnel have soon checked the condition of all the roads, bridges and buildings after the earthquake hit the Ocotillo area of CA (California).

The Research Department of the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the epicenter of the movement of the earthquake was five miles southeast of Ocotillo, CA (California) and 43 kilometers west of Mexicali.

The California’s government officials have issued the statement saying there have not been any injuries or casualties reported in the area nonetheless they are checking if there are any!
