At the same time, there are two subject Sanskrit and Chemistry for which the cut off has been increased by the St. Stephens College authorities. According to the reports, 3 percent reduction has been made in cut off marks for the subject history for undergraduate admission test this year. Last year it was increased for the same subject by 87 percent 91 percent.
There is only one subject i.e. philosophy which does not carry any change in its cut off marks for its undergraduate’s admission test this year and it remained on 85 percent. Most of the BA programs of St. Stephens Colleges have a reduction to their cut off marks from 88 percent to 85 percent. Science subjects also do not have any change in their cut off marks.
94.3 percent cut off marks has been decided for physics for this year’s admission test but 92.67 percent cut off marks have been decided by the authorities for chemistry which is having an increase of only 0.34% from last year. Cut off marks for the subject Computer Science has been reduced to 92 percent for B.Sc. programs but chemistry dropped to 86.33 percent for B.Sc. programs.
