Slovakia New Zealand match, a good draw to start with

Group F teams were equally placed before the start of their World Cup 2010 matches and after playing their first match today on 15th June 2010, they are still placed equally with one point each as both the matches ended in a draw. 1st match was very important one between two strongest teams of the group. The first match was played between Italy and Paraguay and ended in a draw with the final score of 1-1.

2nd match from group F Slovakia New Zealand match was also ended with one goal each.

Both the teams were having great chance to win the match and get the top place in the opening matches of the group but none of the teams utilized these chances.

Both the teams started the match carefully; in the first few minutes of the match New Zealand has some kicks to cut loose. The first half of the match was equally balanced and none of the teams managed to score in the first half of the match.

The second half of the match started with the same pace but in the 55th minute, Slovakia managed to produce a move and Vettek was the man who kicked the ball in the right corner of the goal and Slovakia led the game 1-0.

After scoring the goal, Slovakia started playing little defensive game and when the game entered into the 90th minute of the match, three minutes of added time was allotted in the match and here comes the moment Slovakia never wants to remember. New Zealand scored the goal in the stoppage time and Slovakia team and fans were having their hearts in their mouth. Winston Reid was the man who clutched victory from the hands of Slovakia.
