Born in London (England), Eddie got the early education at Eton College and then got registered at History of Art at Trinity College Cambridge where he earned the graduation degree. Redmanyne performed with the National Youth Music Theater.
Hi professional stage debut happened for Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in Twelfth Night at the Middle Temple Hall in 2002. He won the award for Outstanding Newcomer at the 50th Evening Standard Theater Awards (2004) for his marvelous performance in Edward Albee’s The Goat or who is Sylvia.
He then earned the award for the Best Newcomer at the Critic’ Circle Theater Awards in 2005. 2008 brought him the distinction for being the model for Burberry.
His screen works include the BBC miniseries Tess of the D’Urbervilles and films like The Good Shepherd, Power Blue, Savage Grace and The Other Boleyn Girland Glorious 39. He has been featured in three films so far in his career.
He is also attached to star in the movie adaptation of Ruardidh Nicoll’s White Male Heart. Recently he starred in a stage play named Now or Later by Ch ristopher Shinn at the Royal Court Theatre, London.
This show went on successfully from 3rd September to 18th October 2008. In 2009, he enacted in John Logan’s new play ‘Red’ at the Donmar Warehouse for which the 2010 Olivier Awards for the Best Actor in a supporting role came into his pocket. He holds many other distinctions as well.
